For Non-ITI Apprentice: 15 to 22 years
For ITI Apprentice: 15 to 24 years
Age limit for welder trade, and carpenter candidates – from 15 years to 22 years only
Age relaxation applicable as per rule
➡️ Essential Educational Qualification:
Non-ITI- The Candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification. (26/03/2022)
ITI- The Candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, from a recognized Board and also must pass lTl in the relevant trades. ➡️ Recruitment Selection Procedure:
The merit list in each unit will be generated based on the percentage of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination (with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks). Non-ITI candidates will be recruited, but they will not be given any weightage based on their lTI score; they must simply have a mark sheet/certificate from a designated trade.
