NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Operator 2022 Admit Card Released
Candidates should be aware that receiving an admission card for the examination does not guarantee them a job. The appointment shall be made exclusively on the basis of meeting all eligibility requirements and meeting the NPCIL’s selection criteria. The Preliminary Test will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 26, 2022, and the Stage 2 Advanced Test will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Atomic Energy Central School No. 1, NAPS Township, Narora Atomic Power Station, Bulandshahr, UP. Candidates should be at the test centre at 7:30 a.m. for the preliminary examination. The written exam will be either an OMR or a computer-based test (CBT).
The Written Exam will be divided into two parts.
Stage-1: Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration)
Stage-2: Advanced Test (2 Hours Duration)
The Preliminary Test will be a screening test used to narrow down candidates. The format of the screening examination will be standard and will be as follows:
(a) The examination will consist of 50 multiple choice questions (four options) of one-hour duration, distributed as follows:
Mathematics: 20 Questions
Science: 20 Questions
General Awareness: 10 Questions
Each accurate response will receive three points, while each erroneous answer will receive one point. Depending on logistics, tests may be conducted in single or numerous sessions.
Qualifying Standards: The qualifying standards shall be as follows:
For General Category (UR)/EWS: 40% marks
For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 30% marks
Accordingly, the General Candidates/EWS < 40% marks and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD with < 30% marks will be screened out for Stage-2.
