Phase-II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
The Commission selects applicants for PET/ PST based on their performance in the CBE. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centers finalized by the CAPFs. One cannot score well in this exam if the candidate is not physically and medically fit.

Phase-III: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
From the pool of candidates that pass the PET/ PST, a few will be chosen for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The goal of the medical examination is to guarantee that candidates are medically fit to join the CAPFs.

The Commission will announce the final result, as well as the force distribution, depending on the candidates’ performance in the Computer Based Examination. The qualifying tests will be the Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Detailed Medical Examination. Candidates can view their results as soon as they are released via the direct link to the official SSC CGL website.

The candidate’s performance in all three parts of the SSC GD Constable Exam, namely the Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST), and Detailed Medical Examination, will determine their ultimate selection (DME). As a result, if a candidate is not physically and medically fit, he or she will not be picked for the post of GD constable in the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, and SSF, or GD Rifleman in the Assam Rifles. As a result, it is recommended that candidates maintain physical and mental fitness through physical exercises in order to pass the physical and medical tests.
