Minimum age limit for Primary Teachers – 18 Years
Minimum age limit for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – 21 Years
Maximum age limit for unreserved (male) – 37 years
Maximum age limit for backward class, extremely backward class, backward class women, and unreserved women – 40 years
Maximum age limit for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe (male and female) – is 42 years.
➡️ Essential Educational Qualification:
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name called)
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name called) obtained in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 Are.
Or
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Or
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known;
Or
Graduation with 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.);
Or
Post Graduation with a minimum 55% mark or its equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
